Codename: ‪Moth

Real Name: ▊▊▊ ▊▊▊

Backstory:

Moth never really liked crowds or noisy people focusing their attention on her, which was unfortunate, given the identity of her hyperactive first-year college roommate - Hawk. Moth could hardly stand Hawk the first month they lived together, but after Hawk saved her life in a freak theatre accident and revealed she had super speed, Moth began to see another side of her - a girl who, though much too talkative, wanted to be the best of all people and do the best for the world, which made Moth want to do the best she could to help her as well.

Appearances

  • Episode 7, 8

Speech Traits

  • Almost always sounds exhausted, as if half-asleep

  • Almost sounds like she’s mumbling

  • Not many filler words, but sometimes takes longer pauses simply because she needs to recover the energy necessary to speak (not really, but it seems like that to others)

  • A little monotone; saves emotional expression for the most serious moments

Character/Acting References

  • Aizawa/Eraserhead from “My Hero Academia”

  • Raven from “Teen Titans”

Trivia/Fun Facts

  • She has an older sister, who came out to her as a lesbian when she came out to her as trans.  They helped keep each other’s identities secret until they were comfortable coming out to their parents, although Moth felt a little betrayed when her sister came out before her

  • She was named Moth because moths seem both fashionable and fluffy, just like her (on a good day)

  • She was still trying out different names by the time she met Hawk.  A few of her favorites so far have been Daphne, Phoebe, and Rain, but she hasn’t found one yet that she feel really suits her
